As a reminder, Low Emission Zones (LEZs) are now deployed in the main French cities.

However, it's not always easy to find your way around!

To make things easier for you, FATEC provides you with the latest news regarding the regulations for Low Emission Zones and the changes from January 1, 2024 .

Low Emission Zones (LEZs): What changes in 2024:

Light Vehicles

  • Crit'Air 4 passenger vehicles will be banned from January 1, 2024 in Lyon, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Montpellier and Nice
  • Crit'Air 3 passenger vehicles will be banned from September 1, 2024 in Marseille


Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Goods Vehicles  

  • Light commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles with Crit'Air 3 stickers will be banned from January 1, 2024 in Montpellier.
  • Light commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles with Crit'Air 3 stickers will be banned from January 1, 2024 in Marseille.
  • Crit'Air 4 light commercial vehicles and Crit'Air 3 heavy goods vehicles will be banned from 1 January 2024 in Nice
  • Light commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles with Crit'Air  4 will be banned from January 1st in Strasbourg
