For the fourth consecutive year, the requirement to carry equipment suitable for winter driving is being enforced. In certain municipalities in mountainous regions, it is mandatory to equip vehicles with winter tires or to carry anti-skid devices.
WHICH VEHICLES ARE AFFECTED?
From November 1, 2024, 3PMSF tires will be mandatory in the areas covered by the measure. The purchase and use of other "snow tires" will still be possible, but in this case, users will also need chains .
IN WHICH DEPARTMENTS AND FOR WHAT PERIOD DOES THIS MEASURE APPLY?
34 departments are subject to the obligation which applies from November 1st to March 31st of each year.
