UGAP renews the “Fleet Management” market with the FATEC Group offer.

Following an initial contract signed in 2018, UGAP, the public sector purchasing agency, has renewed its "Fleet Management" contract with FATEC Group for a further four-year period. FATEC Group, an expert in outsourced fleet management, has been awarded the two lots put back up for tender: light vehicles and commercial vehicles. The new contracts include improvements that will benefit UGAP's clients.

FATEC Group has successfully completed its first contract awarded by UGAP in 2018. A recognized specialist in fleet management, FATEC Group has established itself with UGAP's public clients through the quality of its services: checking vehicle maintenance and repair quotes, settling invoices based on negotiated pricing agreements with garage networks… The cost of the services is then billed monthly to the nearest euro.

In four years, the number of light vehicles managed on behalf of UGAP clients, State administrations, health establishments, local authorities, has increased by 25% to 18,000, a development also seen for the management of industrial vehicles, with high technicality.

More open and comprehensive contracts

Théophane Courau, president of FATEC Group, announces an innovation for this new contract, which will come into effect in July 2023: " In our two markets, light vehicles and industrial vehicles, we will offer UGAP customers our Mobipilot tool made by FATEC. It will give them access to their own technical data to analyze it and thus optimize the maintenance of their vehicles."



Furthermore, access to industrial vehicle management services for public sector clients is simplified. This part of the contract will now be executed directly by UGAP (as is already the case for light vehicles). In other words, fewer formalities and greater legal certainty for public sector clients subscribing to these services, since they will no longer need to sign subsequent contracts. This procedure will encourage new public sector clients interested in FATEC Group's expertise for their trucks, buses, coaches, and other equipment to subscribe to the service.

“More than 150 customers have already subscribed to a FATEC fleet management service with UGAP,” explains Olivier Rougetet, head of the Vehicle Marketing department.

"This allows us to effectively complement our mobility offerings, such as vehicle purchase or rental, in order to provide a comprehensive solution to our customers."

FATEC Group's fleet management services include mechanical repairs, bodywork, regulatory inspections (for commercial vehicles), tires, and breakdown and towing services. As an option, FATEC Group can manage fuel cards (fuel and electricity), electronic toll collection, resale, telematics (for passenger vehicles) with recognized partners (Kuantic, SoFleet), and car-sharing (Openfleet).
