After a first contract signed in 2018, UGAP, the public sector purchasing center, is renewing the “Fleet Management” market with the FATEC Group offer for a new period of four years. Expert in delegated fleet management, FATEC Group has been awarded the two prizes in play: light vehicles and industrial vehicles. The new contracts provide improvements that will benefit UGAP customers.
Test transformed for FATEC Group following a first contract entrusted to it by UGAP in 2018. A recognized specialist in fleet management, FATEC Group has established itself among UGAP's public clients through quality of its services: control of vehicle maintenance and repair quotes, payment of invoices on the basis of pricing agreements negotiated with garage networks, etc. The cost of the interventions is then re-invoiced monthly to the nearest euro.
In four years, the number of light vehicles managed on behalf of UGAP clients, state administrations, health establishments, local authorities, has increased by 25% to stand at 18,000, a development also observed for the management of high-tech industrial vehicles.
More open and more detailed contracts
Théophane Courau, president of FATEC Group, announces an innovation for this new contract, which will come into force in July 2023: “ On our two markets, light and industrial vehicles, we will provide UGAP customers with our Mobipilot tool made by FATEC. It will give them access to their own technical data to analyze it and thus optimize the maintenance of their vehicles. »
Furthermore, access for public sector customers to the industrial vehicle management service is simplified. From now on, this part of the market will be executed directly by UGAP (as is already the case for that relating to light vehicles). In other words, fewer formalities and more legal certainty for public clients who subscribe to these services since it will no longer be necessary for them to sign subsequent contracts. This procedure will encourage the subscription of the offer by new public customers interested in FATEC Group's know-how for their trucks, buses, coaches and machines.
“More than 150 customers have already subscribed to a FATEC fleet management service with UGAP. » explains Olivier Rougetet, head of the Vehicle Marketing department.
“This makes it possible to effectively complement our mobility offers, such as the acquisition or rental of vehicles, in order to offer a global solution to our customers. »
The fleet management offer operated by FATEC Group includes mechanical services, bodywork, regulatory checks (in the case of VIs), tires, breakdown assistance and towing. As an option, FATEC Group can manage energy cards (fuel and electricity), electronic toll collection, resale, telematics (for light vehicles) with recognized partners (Kuantic, SoFleet) as well as car sharing (Openfleet).
