Aficar Mobility, Direct Fleet, FATEC, Holson, Phoenix Développement, Solucar, and Traxall France have joined forces to create aFleet, the first association of independent fleet managers. In addition to providing a precise skills framework for fleet management, aFleet's mission is to professionalize the industry by participating in discussions about current and future mobility, and by advocating for expert and controlled fleet management.
Defining fleet management and representing independent players in the industry
Today, there is a real need for professionalizing the fleet manager role, for which there is no formal academic training. aFleet's objective is to establish best practice standards and share expertise in order to clarify the role of the fleet manager within the customer and partner ecosystem.
Like the representative organizations of other players in our industry, the aFleet association wishes to speak out on key themes related to its activities: "We are a group of experts in fleet management. Our contribution is also to participate in and enrich the debates around the energy transition and its consequences on the current and future practices of our professions," says Philippe Ambon , secretary of the association .
Taking a stand and highlighting the strengths of an expert fleet manager
One of aFleet's objectives is also to highlight the benefits of independent fleet management for businesses.
Within aFleet, independence from all actors is an essential criterion; it unites members and allows us to offer an impartial approach valued by clients.
“Thanks to our work, fleet management is coordinated by a single point of contact, which greatly simplifies the daily operations of organizations, whether private, public, or non-profit,” explains Laurent Hauducoeur, Vice President of aFleet.
The association has a shared governance model with a rotating presidency every 6 months, to allow all founding members to embody aFleet in the automotive fleet ecosystem, representative bodies and the media.
The first office is composed of:
- Théophane Courau, President
- Laurent Hauducoeur, Vice-President
- Philippe Ambon, Secretary
- Maxime Sartorius Communication
- Fabien Goussault, Treasurer
