Our CSR

As a company, we are fortunate to be a collective which, from where we are, can act for responsible mobility and aim for the common good .

In this search for meaning, our CSR approach was structured in 2020 primarily around the "human" and "governance" aspects. Our participation in the 2023 Business Convention for Climate was a wake-up call, a real "climate wake-up call." Becoming aware of the environmental challenges and our role in preserving our ecosystem, we are now committed to "taking care of the 3 Ps": People, Planet, Profit

Aligned autonomy

We encourage shared vision and employee empowerment.
Each year, the company sets its strategic directions, meaning its overall business objectives, to which teams are invited to contribute by defining their own target goals.
During the bi-monthly "FATEC à la Hune" company meeting, all employees come together to be informed of company news and strategic directions.

Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QWL)

Our Great Place to Work® certification, awarded since 2023, recognizes the quality of our work environment, based on an independent employee survey. 86% of FATEC employees participated, helping to reward the company for its excellent work-life balance.
Key points highlighted in this survey include:

  • Autonomy, confidence, initiative
  • Good atmosphere, friendly
  • Genuine attention to employees, commitment, performance

Training and professional development

We place great importance on the integration process for employees, and then on their ongoing training.

Our objectives in this regard:

  • 50 hours of training per employee per year
  • Offering opportunities for advancement: in 2024, 18% of employees were able to move to another position of their choice.

Social commitment

Our primary social commitment is to create jobs in our region: 250 jobs created in Marseille over the past 10 years, including 90 in 2024.
Furthermore, FATEC also supports local associations dedicated to employment integration:

Preserving resources and reducing the impact on climate change

Beyond the business phenomenon of fleet energy transition, FATEC felt only remotely concerned by the environmental challenge. However, Théophane and Mathilde Courau's participation in the 2023 Business Convention for Climate changed everything, with the sudden realization of the urgent need to integrate climate issues into our business model.
With nearly a third of CO2 emissions in France, mobility represents the largest source of emissions: such an impact opens up significant opportunities for action. As mobility managers, we therefore have a major challenge to overcome:

"How can we implement responsible and efficient mobility in businesses and government agencies that reduces its impact, while simultaneously engaging employees in an irresistible shift towards sustainability?"

To address this, we have defined our "Cap 2030" with the mission of bringing people, goods, and services closer together while making the planet more livable.
By 2030, FATEC aims to become a contributing company that acts for responsible mobility and strives for the common good.

What levers can we use to achieve this?

Reduce the environmental impact of mobility by decreasing the number of kilometers driven alone or empty, reducing the number of vehicles, and developing the least impactful vehicles.
Target objective : -40% carbon emissions by 2030

To extend and improve the reliability of vehicle and component lifespans in order to limit resource extraction.
Target objective : 1.5x increase in vehicle lifespan and use of parts from the circular economy in 30% of eligible maintenance interventions.

Engage teams (FATEC, our clients' teams, our suppliers' teams, etc.) and organizations in a transition in which they are active participants, and generate enthusiasm.
Target objective : 1,000 people made aware of and committed to a more sustainable lifestyle.

In 2023, we had our carbon footprint carried out which allows us to measure direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which can be downloaded in its entirety below: FATEC Carbon Footprint.

To manage and share the values created

Counting what truly matters:
We are committed to valuing non-financial data as well.
For example, 38% of the profit-sharing formula is based on CSR criteria.
Our target objectives include "3P" indicators each year.

To compensate fairly

We continuously refine our compensation policy to ensure it is fair, transparent, and attractive: creating value together, valued by our clients so that we can then share it. We consider the entire compensation package: compensation, development, quality of work life, and work-life balance, not just the base salary.
Employee share ownership is open to employees who hold 5% of the company's capital.
33% of annual pre-tax profit is allocated to redistribution in the form of raises, bonuses, or profit-sharing, and 35% is dedicated to investments.

Economic sustainability and governance

We benefit from a Supervisory Board composed of 9 people: 2 representatives of our shareholders, 3 independent directors chosen for their functional and sector expertise, and 3 members of the FATEC Executive Committee. This is an opportunity to challenge our projects and raise our game.

A coherent business model:
We take a long-term perspective, seeking to create value for the company, its stakeholders, and society as a whole. We adapt our business model to future transformations to align it with sustainable objectives.
